AAP Postdocs 2024
The present call aims at funding post-doc positions on new research projects aligned with the main objectives of Frontiers of Life : this call is open to the broad community of scientists on the campus of the University of Bordeaux having scientific activities of relevance to the research themes of Frontiers of Life.

The current call aims at supporting the activities of our research community and strengthening the international visibility of our research activities.
We will support: Travel grants / Setup of project proposals / International conferences / Invitation of international scientists / Outreach activities / and other actions...

This Open call is continuous all year long.
1st Scientific Day of the RRI Frontiers of Life, @ IECB on June 1st 2023.
This event is opened to all members of the Bordeaux Campus interested in our activities and to all scientists and staff having scientific activities around the engineering of living processes.
Registration (including for lunch) is free but mandatory for logistic reasons (link below)
We will be pleased to host two external speakers, who will contribute to the event:
- Lea Laeticia Pontani (laboratoire Jean-Perrin) and,
- Jean-Francois Joanny (Collège de France et Institut Curie)
as well as speakers from the network,
- Marie Jittasevie, Frontiers of Life PhD student and
- Nicolas Martin, Frontiers of Life scientist.
In addition, everyone is welcome to present a poster and slots for flash talk presentations will be arranged for people interested. Registration for posters and flash talks is required for logistic reasons.

Frontiers of Life is hiring 4 PhD students Starting Sept/Oct 2022
Frontiers of Life is organized as a Doctoral Network located on the Bordeaux Campus. In 2022, 4 open positions are available. In 2023, 3 more positions will be advertised. The PhD positions are planned as joint PhD projects between complementary PIs of the campus and will be funded as Univ. Bordeaux Doctoral Contracts.
